DETROIT, MI – Today, the Pipefitters, Steamfitters, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Service Local Union 636, which represents more than 2,500 workers in Michigan, announced its endorsement of Congresswoman Haley Stevens for U.S. Senate. In their endorsement, Local 636 recognized Haley’s record of protecting good-paying union jobs, expanding workforce training opportunities, and ensuring all workers have the benefits they earned over lifetimes of hard work.
“Congresswoman Haley Stevens has always stood shoulder to shoulder with the working class,” said Larry Krisniski, Business Manager of Local 636. “From day one, Haley Stevens has been a champion for the men and women who build and power this state, protecting good-paying union jobs, expanding workforce training, and ensuring workers have the fair wages and benefits they deserve.
