Stevens successfully fought to get tens of thousands of Michiganders the hard-earned retirement benefits they were owed after being taken advantage of by greedy Wall Street investors. She also helped close a loophole that got tens of thousands of Michigan workers and teachers the Social Security benefits they paid into.
