Chairman of Michigan Chapter of National Action Network: Haley Stevens will Stand up and Fight Back
DETROIT, MI – Today, Reverend Charles Williams II, pastor of the Historic King Solomon Baptist Church in Detroit and Chairman of the Michigan chapter of the National Action Network, endorsed Haley Stevens for US Senate. In his endorsement, he emphasized Haley’s ability to stand up and fight back to protect Michigan’s communities from Donald Trump’s administration.
“The stakes are high. Policies that are seeking to destroy our community are on the rise under this administration. We need someone who will stand up and fight back. Haley Stevens has that in her. She did it in Congress, she’ll do it in the Senate,” said Reverend Charles Williams II.
“Reverend Williams II is a leader in the fight for workers’ rights, civil rights, and equality, and I am honored to have him on my team,” said Haley. “I look forward to working with him in the Senate to strengthen Michigan communities, protect Michiganders’ freedoms, and make sure every Michigan family can succeed.”
