Grand Rapids Mayor David LaGrand Endorses Haley Stevens for U.S. Senate

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Today, the Mayor of Grand Rapids David LaGrand endorsed Haley Stevens to represent Michigan in the U.S. Senate.
“I’m proud to support Congresswoman Haley Stevens’ campaign for the United States Senate,” said Mayor LaGrand. “One of my top priorities as Mayor of Grand Rapids is strengthening our economy by lowering costs and creating jobs. Congresswoman Stevens has spent her career championing those efforts, from saving 200,000 jobs as chief of staff for Obama’s auto rescue during the Great Recession, to helping write the law that’s bringing semiconductor manufacturing back to Michigan. This is the kind of leadership that Grand Rapids and our entire state desperately needs right now. I look forward to working with Congresswoman Stevens when she’s in the Senate to continue making Grand Rapids the very best place to live.”
